Showtime declared Pat Hazell one of the five funniest people in America. His 30 years of experience as a writer, producer and director have made him a go-to guy for new American theater. Pat is one of the original writers for NBC’s Seinfeld, a Tonight Show veteran, a critically acclaimed playwright and the host of the popular Arts & Culture podcast Creativity in Captivity. He is recognized for his quick wit and genuinely funny Americana humor. As a playwright, Pat’s first endeavor Bunk Bed Brothers was optioned by Columbia Pictures, then gained the attention of the TV industry and was filmed as the sit-com, American Pie, for NBC. Hazell’s flagship show, The Wonder Bread Years, a grand salute to the baby-boomer generation, aired on PBS where they referred to Hazell as “America’s Foremost Pop Culture Anthropologist.” Pat’s newest show Pat Hazell’s Permanent Record is currently touring the US. As the Chief Creative Officer of Sweetwood Creative in Austin, TX He is responsible for the national tours of 8 original productions: Norbert Leo Butz Broadway or Busk! The Wonder Bread Years, Broadway Barbara Live!, Monique Marvez is No Joke, Don Reed’s The Never Too Late Show, Permanent Record and Josh Sneed: A Stand-Up Guy. Pat is currently collaborating on a musical adaptation of his original play Grounded For Life. Tucker is a Film Studies graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and an unnecessarily large film buff. He is the producer, recording engineer and editor of the Creativity in Captivity Podcast. He enjoys playing video games and studying the history and development of them.
